About Us
Meet the MHR team of Dallas real estate investors
Hi, we’re Jody and Lance, the founders of MHR.
Our real estate knowledge spans 30 years each (that’s 60 years of combined experience!) in everything from residential home sales to high-volume, multi-state HUD foreclosure transactions.
We’re passionate entrepreneurs who have successfully operated multiple ventures including Excel Title Group, Integrity Title Records, Aggieland Title, and several abstract companies across the Oklahoma market.
Lance has specialized in land title insurance across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico while Jody, a licensed Realtor since 1996, is focused on residential sales. Jody also served as EVP of Business Development and Community Involvement for the Luna family companies for six years.
While the majority of her career was with Ebby Halliday Realtors, she currently hangs her license with Fathom Realty.
We met at the closing table in 1997 and were married in 1998. And since 2021, we have been active in the home investing side primarily purchasing distressed properties, completing tasteful renovations, and bringing revitalized homes back to market.
Our passion for the real estate industry continues to grow, and we love building relationships with our clients as well as fellow real estate professionals.
The name MHR comes from our kids Max, Honor, Ross. A reminder of the legacy we’re building and the values of hard work, integrity, and relationships we want to pass on to them.
When we’re not buying and renovating unwanted properties or sharing our knowledge with fellow agents, you’ll find us cheering on our favorite team, the Texas A&M Aggies!

Ross Luna
A Sachse High School graduate and business student at Texas A&M University. Ross has spent three years with MHR Texas building experience in real estate operations and customer relations. He’s passionate about business and plans to continue his career in real estate after graduation.
Cason Puckett
A Sachse High School graduate and and attended Collin College, Cason joined MHR Texas in 2022 and plays a key role in daily operations. From customer relations to payroll and notary services, he helps ensure every client experience is smooth and professional.

Max Luna is a business professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communications and Corporate Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a proud alumni of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Hailing from a real estate family, he’s a third-generation Garland ISD alumnus, bringing a legacy of character to his clients. Max emphasizes honesty, integrity, and effective communication, ensuring clients receive the answers they need. Max’s commitment to service is evident in his passion for helping others navigate real estate transactions seamlessly. He is currently part of the Ebby Halliday team.
Beyond business, he actively engages in philanthropy, supporting organizations like the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and Good Samaritans. Max’s community involvement extends to his church and personal interests include hunting, fishing, sports, and quality time with family.
